Help: How to send a Gift Voucher

Gift Vouchers make great presents for a friend or relative who you think might like our range of products. You can order any amount (above £5) which can be redeemed against any of the items we offer.

To send a gift voucher you need first to have created an account with us.

To register you must provide us with your name, postal address, email address and a telephone number. You will also be asked to create a username and password, which can be anything you choose. Pick something memorable, and specify a password which is unlikely to be known by anyone else.

Once registered a "your account" link will appear in the top bar. Clicking this will take you to your personal homepage, where one of the available options is "send a gift voucher". Click on this.

You will then see a form where you are invited to give the name and email address of the Gift Voucher recipient. You can also add a personal message in the box marked "message", this will be included in the email sent to your recipient instructing them how to redeem the voucher.

Once you have entered these details, click "add to basket" and the Gift Voucher will be added to your shopping basket. You will pay for the Gift Voucher when you checkout and, once it has been authorised by lavender/room, it will be emailed to your recipient. The voucher is then valid for 12 months from the date it is authorised.

Note that there is no delivery charge if your order consists of only Gift Vouchers.

If you have received a Gift Voucher, it can be used as payment, or part payment, for anything you purchase using the online shop. You can also check the status of any Gift Voucher you have received by entering the Voucher's code number on the "Send a Gift Voucher" page.
